UK release of Turn A Gundam 'indefinitely delayed'

Release on hold while investigating possible Blu-ray edition

Written by A. H. on 26 Jan 2016

In the midst of all of their recent license announcements, you may have missed out on the opportunity to catch up on the latest Anime Limited podcast which went live over the weekend.

Indeed, this podcast brings with it some particularly notable news for Mobile Suit Gundam fans, namely that Turn A Gundam's UK release on home video is currently "indefinitely delayed".

Fear not though, this isn't just a sly way of saying "cancelled" - far from it in fact, as Anime Limited have currently put their prior DVD-only release plans for the title on hold as they discuss the possibility of a Blu-ray release for the series with the licensor.

Needless to say, we'll be keeping an ear to the ground for news of how those discussions progress, and this decision has no impact on the distributor's release existing Blu-ray release plans for Zeta Gundam.

You can listen to the latest Anime Limited podcast in its entirety via the All the Anime web site.
