Adaptation of fantasy dating sim comes to the service

Written by A. H. on 25 May 2016

Having vowed to continue to bring so-called "retrocasts" into the streaming sphere despite the closing of their Omakase service, Viewster have indeed kept that promise and have this week added a brand-new old series to that service for your enjoyment.

The series in question is Meine Liebe, the first season of Bee Train's adaptation of a historical-fantasy dating sim. Here's the synopsis from Viewster themselves:

From Studio Bee Train comes this dark tale of a fictional European country where five teens are groomed as future advisors. Kuchen, an island off the west coast of Europe, is home to an elite boarding school called The Rosenstolz Academy. Orpherus, nicknamed Orphe, is a young man with convictions, and a tragic past. Alongside him are Eduard, Camus, Lui and Naoji, all training to be Strahl (think scholars with an attitude) who will help protect the kingdom. Isaac is an English writer who visits Kuchen and befriends the teens. Together, they face corrupt politicians, secret agents, and an attempt to assassinate their king. Whoa!

You can currently find the first seven episodes of the series available on the Viewster web site.
