Two new takes on the Madoka Magica universe

Over the past week or so, Yen Press have had a few new manga offerings to add to their forthcoming line-up, so the time is ripe to see what they have up their sleeves.
Perhaps most notable is the addition of yet more spin-offs from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise in spin-off form - indeed, the first of their announcements is essentially a sping-off of a spin-off, as Puella Magi Oriko Magica: Extra Story imagines a different set of circumstances befalling the characters featured within the Oriko Magica tale. This single volume outing will be released on March 24th 2015.
Also acquired by the publisher is Puella Magi Tart Magica: The Legend of Jeanne d'Arc, which takes up the brief appearance of Jeanne d'Arc within the Madoka Magica TV series and spins it out into a full-on tale of this historical character as a magical girl. Volume one of the series will appear on April 21st 2015.
Away from magical girls for a second, Yen Press have also picked fantasy-action series Karneval for a North American release (the series has been available for sometime via Madman Entertainment in Australian) - this story, featuring a boy named Nai and his new-found friend Gareki as they search for the former's companion Karoku, is also seeing its anime adapation released by Manga Entertainment this September.
The first volume of Karneval is currently slated for a March 2015 release in the US.
