Yen Press and Seven Seas new titles from Anime Expo

Written by Seb Reid on 09 Jul 2018

While I am glad I wasn't at Anime Expo 2018 this year (people, heat etc), it has clearly been a bumper year for new releases. At their industry panels, both Yen Press and Seven Seas have promised a huge new range of light novel and manga releases for your enjoyment.

Yen Press

  • Yume de Mita: Anoko no Tame ni - Kei Sanbe - Manga
  • Dive!! - Ruzuru Akashiba and Eto Mori - Manga
  • Monster Wrestling - Memarei and Chabana Uchida - Manga
  • Penguin Highway - Tomihiko Morimi - Novel
  • The Night is Young, Walk on Girl - Tomihiko Morimi - Novel
  • Mirai - Mamoru Hasoda - Novel
  • 86 - Asato Asato - Novel
  • Nyankees - Okada Atsushi - Manga
  • Plunderer - Suu Minazuki - Manga
  • Kakegarui Twins - Homura Kawamoto and Katsura Saiki - Manga
  • Happy Sugar Life - Tomiyaki Kagisora - Manga
  • Bunko Stray Dogs - Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukaka - Novel
  • Woof Woof Story - Wanwan Maijin and Kochimo - Novel

There are many excellent titles coming soon, of which I am particularly interested in the Kakegarui spin off adaptation with Mary, and the rather bizarre story of a bloke who gets turned into a giant dog in Woof Woof Story.

Format of releases and dates will be available later.

Seven Seas Entertainment

  • Transparent Light Blue - Kiyoko Iwami - Manga
  • A Certain Scientific Railgun: Astral Buddy - Yasuhito Nogi - Manga
  • Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Elma's Office Lady Diary - Ayami Kazuma - Manga
  • Sorcerous Stabber Orphen Heed My Call, Beast! - Muraji - Manga
  • Classmates - Asumiko Nakamura - Manga
  • Dragon Quest Monsters+ - Mine Youshizaki - Manga
  • Division Maneuver - Shippo Senoo - Novel
  • Classroom of the Elite - Syougo Kinugasa - Novel
  • Mushoku Tensei - Rifujin na Magonote - Novel

It goes without saying that I might be rather happy of the Elma spinoff manga coming our way!
