Yen Press license first Sound! Euphonium novel and more

Basis for Kyoto Animation's hit anime

Manga and light novel publisher Yen Press were in celebratory mood ahead of the forthcoming Thanksgiving weekend, so much so that they've granted us the gift of some new license announcements.

Here's what they had to show off:

- Sound! Euphonium - For starters, the publisher has confirmed that the first volume of Ayano Takeda's Sound! Euphonium novel series, the basis for Kyoto Animation's currently airing anime series, will be coming to the west in English.

- Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash - With its original light novel series snapped up by J-Novel Club and its anime coming to home video via Funimation Entertainment, Yen Press have also nabbed Mutsumi Okubashi's three-volume adaptation of "trapped in a fantasy world" series Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash.

Magical Girl Raising Project - This original light novel series from Asari Endou, which is currently enjoying an anime adapation this autumn, will be arriving in English from summer 2017.
