Netflix to premiere Little Witch Academia TV series on June 30th

First half of series to stream with English dub

Written by A. H. on 23 May 2017

It was last July when we first announced that Netflix had snapped up production studio Trigger's full-blown Little Witch Academia TV series, which began airing on Japanese television at the start of the year.

Despite Netflix's disinterest in simulcasting anime week-on-week, if we're honest, we were hoping we might have seen at least the first half of the series made available legally on the service by now, but it hasn't emerged - however, we do now finally have a firm date set for those opening episodes.

We can now expect the first half of Little Witch Academia TV, comprising 13 of the show's total of 25 episodes, to premiere on Netflix in streaming form from Friday, 30th June 2017 - language options are yet to be fully confirmed, but the episodes should at least be available with both English and Japanese audio along with English subtitles.
