Details announced at Anime Expo

In the blitz of recent news, one thing we neglected to comment on at the end of the spring season is confirmation that Little Witch Academia will be getting a TV anime series, following on the heels of a franchise that debut as part of the Anime Mirai (aka Young Animator Training Project) scheme in 2013, before going on to receive a sequel partly funded by a crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter.
The news was confirmed in the wake of the final episode of Space Patrol Luluco, which featured a near-literal passing of the baton to Little Witch Academia, and it's now been confirmed that a series of half-hour television episodes will be coming our way at some point in the future, with director Yoh Yoshinari once again at the helm.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given that both of its prior instalments appeared on the service, it was also confirmed at Anime Expo in Los Angeles last weekend that the series will be made available on Netflix; an announcement that will surely (hopefully) include the UK.
There are no further details at present, but are you excited at the prospect of more Little Witch Academia? Let us know your thoughts!
