Rainy Cocoa removed from UK retailer listings

Title being re-evaluated; other Anime Limited updates

Written by A. H. on 30 Aug 2016

The Bank Holiday brought us sunshine, relaxation.... and another edition of the Anime Limited Podcast, hot on the heels of the last instalment.

There were a few items of note discussed within the podcast, perhaps the most notable of which was regarding a forthcoming Funimation Entertainment release for the UK, with news that Rainy Cocoa's Seasons 1 and 2 DVD release has been removed from retailer listings for the time being.

The release in question is currently being re-evaluated as to its costs and feasibility in light of exceedingly poor pre-order numbers at this point in time (only two pre-orders have been received on Amazon, according to Anime Limited president Andrew Partridge), with the distributor urging people to get in touch if they're passionate about ensuring this release reaches the UK.

In other (brighter) news, Mr. Partridge confirmed plans to bring over further Gundam series - specifically Victory Gundam and both seasons of Gundam Build Fighters - to the UK derived from the Right Stuf's US releases of those titles, while plans were reaffirmed to release Miss Hokusai in its Collector's Edition form without waiting for GKids' recently announced English dub, with this edition still expected to arrive in October at the time of recording.
