Universal Pictures to release Berserk 2016 and Drifters on UK home video

Two forthcoming projects

Written by A. H. on 27 May 2016

One of the joys of the MCM London Comic Con is getting to catch up with the latest goings-on in the anime industry, and this afternoon granted us a very enjoyable chat with Universal Pictures' John Partridge, who had some very exciting and important information to share regarding their future plans.

Of course, we already know that there's more Seraph of the End and The Heroic Legend of Arslan on the way, but what can we expect beyond these two series?

Well, we can now exclusively reveal that Universal Pictures will be handling the UK home video release of the all-new 2016 Berserk TV series (which airs in Japan this summer), and also the anime adaptation of Kouta Hirano's manga series Drifters, which will also be airing in Japan in 2016.

Both of these titles will get the same kind of Collector's Edition treatment we've seen from those aforementioned titles of course, although we're some way away from any exact details being finalised.  Needless to say, we'll let you know once we hear more!
