MVM Confirm no more DVD after Q4

MVM Confirm no more DVD after Q4

Written by Seb Reid on 05 Jul 2018

In an interview with UK website Anime Independent, MVM owner Tony Allen has stated that he does not expect to continue releasing anime on DVD past Q4 2018.

From the article:

At what point, if at all in the foreseeable future, do you see MVM dropping DVD as a format?

For titles from Q4.

That seems pretty clear. Whether or not other companies will follow suit is unclear. More news as it comes in. We believe this to be for all titles released after the Q4 Period between October and December 2018.
