Animax UK adds Durarara's first season to streaming service

Written by A. H. on 18 Jan 2015

It continues to be a quiet time in terms of brand-new additions to the line-up of streaming service Animax's UK efforts, although we've been promised "a host of new shows still to come" to suggest that there's plenty more on the horizon.

For now though, how about the addition of a recent classic to the site? Late last week saw Animax add the first series of Durarara hit the service - the first five episodes are currently available in Japanese with English subtitles at the time of writing, with five more due to be added on January 23rd and more set to arrive on a weekly basis thereafter.

This addition marks a continuation of the service offering titles from Anime Limited in digital form, with Makoto Shinkai's The Garden of Words and The Place Promised in Our Early Days providing other recent additions from the distributor's own catalogue.

You can find these additions and more at the Animax UK web site, while all of Durarara can also be found in streaming form via Crunchyroll.
