Animax UK adds five new simulcast series, drops subscription cost

Selector Infected WIXOSS, Daimidaler and more

Written by A. H. on 04 Jun 2014

We'd heard at the MCM London Comic Con that major changes were afoot at Animax UK, and this major change has now manifested itself in public with news of some big simulcast additions to the service.

In short, the streaming site's previous exclusivity deal with Viz Media Europe is no more, allowing the service to pursue other simulcasts, particularly those previously locked to North America from FUNimation Entertainment.  Thus, the following series will soon be arriving on Animax UK:

- Daimidaler: Prince Vs. Penguin Empire
- Riddle Story of Devil
- Selector Infected WIXOSS
- Dragonar Academy
- Fairy Tail

If this isn't enough, both new and existing subscribers will see Animax UK's monthly cost drop from its previous price of £5.99 to just £4.99.

We promised you exciting times ahead in the world of streaming anime, and now you can start to see why!

Will any of these additions tempt you to give Animax UK a try? Let us know in the comments!
