Yes, that's right folks, it's time to get those calendar dates a-shiftin' once again, as the latest Anime Limited Newswire has brought us details of a number of date changes - not only for the distributor's own titles, but also for those that they're handling on behalf of Funimation UK.
Let's start out with Anime Limited themselves however, who have announced the following delays and changes:
Empire of Corpses has now slipped out of its July 11th berth to a new date of 8th August due to a delay in the steel box packaging used for the release.
Free! -Eternal Summer- has similarly slipped from 25th July to the end of the summer and a new date of 29th August due to delays with approvals - it has, however, been confirmed that this release will contain both the entire second season and bonus OVA episode.
Beck's Complete Series Collection DVD release and the Voices of a Distant Star and The Place Promised in our Early Days Makoto Shinkai twin pack have slipped out of their tentative July 25th dates to an as-yet unknown future date, with the former still going through the BBFC and approval processes while the latter is itself still waiting for approvals.
Meanwhile, we have the following new dates for the first batch of Funimation UK titles:
Yona of the Dawn Part 1 on DVD and Blu-ray moves from 4th July to 25th July.
Gonna Be The Twin-Tail! sees its Complete Series Collection on DVD and Blu-ray move from 11th July to 25th July.
Fairy Tail Part 10's DVD release moves from 25th July to 15th August.
Finally, No-Rin slips to 29th August from 25th July.
Any other scheduled Funimation UK releases currently only have tentative release dates, which will be updated as required in due course.
So, there you have it - time for some updates to the UK Anime Network release calendar, we suppose. In the meantime, you can find the latest Anime Limited Newswire at the All The Anime Blog.
