We're coming close to the point where UK anime distributors will be revealing their release slates for the fourth and final quarter of the year, and Anime Limited have now revealed their plans following September's release of Gurren Lagann in its Ultimate Edition, DVD Collector's Edition and Blu-Ray TV Series Collection forms.
Starting with October, we can expect to see HAL released as a DVD and Blu-Ray combo-pack complete with twenty-page translated booklet, while Patema Inverted will also arrive in Ultimate, Collectors and Regular Editions. Also arriving during the month is Blood Lad, as both a Blu-Ray Collector's Edition complete with OVA and 96-page booklet and a DVD Standard Edition.
Moving onto November, GAINAX classic Wings of Honneamise will be arriving as a DVD/Blu-Ray Collector's Edition combo pack complete with a twenty-page booklet, as well as a standard DVD edition. Also arriving this month is the first series of Space Dandy, via Blu-Ray and DVD Collector's Editions which ship with a 116-page art book.
Finally, December will see Anime Limited releasing a mystery film as a Collector's Edition DVD and Blu-Ray combo-pack and standard DVD edition, following a theatrical release in October and November. The distributor also hopes to release the first part of Kill la Kill as a DVD and Blu-Ray Collector's Edition combo-pack, pending licensor approval.
