Anime Limited to stream Gundam: Reconguista in G this autumn

Anime Limited promised a surprise for us earlier today, and here it is - the distributor will be streaming the brand new Gundam series, Gundam: Reconguista in G, for the autumn season.

Set after the end of the Universal Century and instead ensconced within a new era of peace known as the Reglid Century... a peace that could be shattered as space piracy threatens to shake this new era to its foundations.

With Wakanim taking a break to overhaul their service, Anime Limited will instead be hosting both free (for the first episode only) and paid rental or download-to-own options for each episode on their own web site using Vimeo's on-demand service. Streaming of the series will also be appearing on other platforms in due course, and there are also hints that we can expect a future home video release of the show from the company.

Each episode will go live two hours after the Japanese broadcast - Episodes one and two of the series will be available at 9PM tonight, Thursday October 2nd, with future episodes appearing at 8PM every Thursday.
