With all of the Anime Expo news sloshing around, you might have been forgiven for missing a teeny, tiny piece of news that slipped out into the ether yesterday.
Yes, that's right, Attack on Titan's anime adaptation is getting a second season, and we now know when it'll be airing to boot.
The second season adapting Hajime Isayama's megahit manga has now been confirmed to be airing as part of the spring 2017 season, and we already have a first key visual for the show to get you salivating - you can check that out above.
Another major piece of news around the series is a change in director - Tetsuro Araki, who directed season one, moves into the role of chief director for the series, with season one episode director Masashi Koizuka taking on the job of series director for WIT Studio. You'll be able to find more details (in Japanese of course) on the official web site.
No doubt we'll be hearing plenty more about the series between now and next April, but for now let us simply ask - how excited are you about this second season?
