Crunchyroll stream Wish Upon the Pleiades and Urawa no Usagi-chan this spring

You know the drill by now - a new day brings with it new streaming announcements from Crunchyroll, so let's see what's newly added to their growing selection of UK simulcasts for the spring, shall we?

Wish Upon the Pleiades - Originally a collaboration project between Japanese car manufacturer Subaru and animation studio Gainax of Evangelion fame, Wish Upon the Pleiades, known in Japan as Houkago no Pleiades, features a cast of magical girls who are helping an alien to recover fragments so that it can return home to the Pleiades.

The first episode of the series is already available, with episodes airing every Wednesday at 8:15PM UK time from this Crunchyroll page.

Urawa no Usagi-chan - An original work from TV Saitama, Urawa no Usagi-chan features 8 anthropomorphic girls representing the stations in Saitama prefecture, that all have “urawa” in their names. To keep with the local spirit, all of the voice actresses for the show are from Saitama as well. Urawa no Usagi-chan focuses on the daily lives of these 8 high school girls.

The series begins today, Thursday April 9th, with episodes airing each week at 6:30PM UK time from this Crunchyroll page.
