Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F debuts at number 12 in UK home video chart

Given its stellar UK box office performance, it seemed inevitable that Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F would enjoy a similar level of success upon its home video release, and so it's proved.

Last week saw Manga Entertainment's DVD, Blu-ray and Collector's Edition SKUs of this release hit retail, with stock also reaching many major supermarkets - a factor which, according to the official charts, helped to power it into the number 12 spot in the week's UK home video chart.

Indeed - and not including its double pack edition packaged with Battle of Gods - the film was the second best selling new film release of last week on home video - bested only by STUDIOCANAL's Legend.

This performance also saw the film reach number 38 in the overall DVD sales chart for last week, while it also romped all the way to number 4 in the weekly Blu-ray sales chart (where the aforementioned Dragon Ball Z double pack hit number 23).

You can find Manga Entertainment's rightful celebration of this achievement on their web site.
