Two press releases from upcoming TV channel
Written by A. H. on 29 Oct 2013
Earlier this month we reported on a forthcoming broadcast television channel named East Asia TV that promised anime aplenty in its line-up, and today we've received a couple of other interesting snippets as the channel seeks to build towards its launch.
Firstly, the channel has confirmed that alongside its current plans to launch on Sky's digital satellite platform, East Asia Television will also be looking into airing on the free-to-air Freeview digital platform, with a view towards launching on this service shortly after their initial launch on Sky.
The channel has also announced that it is now looking for suggestions of anime to air on its launch night - voting will open on November 1st at 12AM, asking prospective viewers to vote for an anime that they'd love to see on the channel's opening night. You'll be able to vote from that date until January 31st 2014 on the East Asia Television web site.
