The year kicked off with a bang for anyone looking to watch the latest anime in streaming form here in the UK, with news breaking that Funimation Entertainment's new-look streaming service, FunimationNow would be launching in our territory.
That launch was originally scheduled for this February, but as you may have noticed there isn't a whole lot of that left to launch in, and thus today has seen not only the launch of an official Funimation UK Twitter account, but also news that the launch of the service has been moved to this March.
Further details are currently sparse (although we can expect plenty more news over the coming weeks by all accounts), but it has been confirmed that the service's PlayStation 4 and Xbox One apps for viewing content will be coming to the UK at some point, alongside a promise of "loads of titles" available when the service launches next month.
For now, you can sign up for e-mail updates and check out the service's current landing page.
