Funimation have dropped a bombshell, by adding a whole host of Gundam shows to their streaming service.
The shows include:
The original Gundam and Unicorn are from the same Universal Century Timeline, while the SEED stories are set in their own continuity.
In the original series, Amuro Rey is the young pilot drawn into the conflict raging between the Earth Federation and the colonial Zeon forces. It's notable not only for it's glorious mechanical design, but also for examining the true cost of war and the devastation it brings. It's one of anime's true classics.
Gundam Unicorn is a prequel series set in U.C 001, at the very beginning of the space colonization process.
The SEED series follows pacifist Kira Yamato and his rivalry with his one-time best friend Athrun Zala, as the two find themselves on opposites sides of a new war. The show is set over 2 seasons, totalling 100 episodes, and features some truly outstanding mecha designs.
All this Gundam goodness is available now on Funimation.
