Gunslinger Girl added to Netflix UK

Gunslinger Girl added to Netflix UK

Written by A. H. on 05 Jan 2016

If you're looking for a classic anime to watch while you're waiting for the winter 2016 season to start in earnest, then you could certainly do worse than to head on over to Netflix's UK service right now, as they may just have what you need.

Specifically, yesterday saw the service add Madhouse's acclaimed adaptation of popular manga series Gunslinger Girl to the site in its entirety - this tale of cybernetically enhanced young girls used to fight crime and terrorism can be found with both English and Japanese audio on this Netflix page.

If you're a completionist, then you'll be even more pleased to hear that the decidedly less popular second season of the show, Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino is also now available, and you can find all 15 episodes on this Netflix page.

While we're talking about Netflix, we should also mention that not only has Detective Conan (aka Case Closed) shown up on Crunchyroll for the UK, it's now available in the same form on Netflix as well.

Thanks to Henry on Twitter for the heads-up!
