Gurren Lagann Ultimate Edition delayed to October 20th

The tale of Gurren Lagann's UK Blu-ray release increasingly seems to be summed up by the phrase "whatever can go wrong, will go wrong", with news breaking that the Ultimate Edition release of the show has now been further delayed to a new street date of October 20th.

This latest (and hopefully last) in a succession of delays comes due to high demand at Sony DADC to print and replicate the final stock of the release, leaving distributor Anime Limited powerless to do anything but wait for their stock and set the aforementioned new release date.
