MVM Entertainment confirm new improved deal with Blu-Ray supplier

Releasing titles on the format is now cheaper

Written by A. H. on 10 Mar 2014

For anime fans keen to watch their favourite shows in the highest quality possible, the lack of Blu-Ray releases for certain titles has been a constant bugbear in some shape or form for some time now, and it's an issue that has been particularly focused around distributor MVM Entertainment of late.

However, the company revealed over the weekend that they've now struck a new deal with their Blu-Ray supplier which makes releasing titles cheaper on the format, which should in turn make more viable to release more series on Blu-Ray moving forward.

In light of this, and following on from the recent confirmation that Girls und Panzer will be coming to the UK on both DVD and Blu-Ray, it's subsequently been confirmed that other forthcoming titles such as From The New World and Accel World will also be granted releases on both formats.

As big fans of watching anime on Blu-Ray, we couldn't be happier, and hopefully we're one step closer to no longer having to complain or enquire about the lack of Blu-Ray releases of big titles in the UK.
