My Hero Academia Season 2, Part 1 UK release announced

It is news that been has doing the rounds on the rumour mill for a little while now, but finally Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have confirmed that they will be bringing My Hero Academia Season Two, Part One to the UK on 2nd April 2018. The series is based on Kōhei Horikoshi’s New York Times best-selling manga, from Weekly Shonen Jump, and the release will feature the first 12 episodes of Season Two. It will be available on DVD and Blu-ray, the DVD version will include the season’s first 12 episodes and an extra recap episode 13.5  “Hero Notebook”, while the Blu-ray version will feature a number of extras on top of that including: 11 "Inside the Episodes" features, an interview with Yoshihiko Umakoshi from Anime Expo 2017, some "Promo videos", as well as textless opening and closing songs.

Synopsis: Class 1-A made a name for themselves after facing The League of Villains, but an even greater challenge is about to begin. These young heroes will now fight students from other classes in the world's biggest Quirk competition-the U.A. sports festival! With dreams at stake and friends turning to adversaries, Deku will give everything he's got in his grand debut as the world's next symbol of peace.
