Sekai Project to release Clannad visual novel via Steam

Project to release fully voiced Key game underway

Written by A. H. on 24 Aug 2014

With Japan Expo USA taking place this weekend, perhaps the biggest news to come from the event thus far arrives courtesy of visual novel translation team Sekai Project, who had a major announcement to make to add to their growing list of sterling efforts to bring titles to a western audience.

The news in question is that a plan is now underway for Key's well-known visual novel Clannad to receive an English language release for the PC via Steam, courtesy of a fully-voiced edition.

There's no news of when this project will come to fruition and the title will appear on Steam, but the news follows plans by Sekai Project to release another Key title, Planetarian, via Steam this autumn.

Are you excited by the prospect of being able to play Clannad? Let us know your thoughts!
