Toei Animation confirm Manga Entertainment to release Dragon Ball in Summer 2014

With Dragon Ball Z completed, and Dragon Ball GT on its way in the early months of 2014, there have been calls once again for a UK release of the original Dragon Ball series on DVD.

Well, it appears that those calls have now been answered, with a press release on the Toei Animation Europe web site confirming that Manga Entertainment will be releasing Dragon Ball as a series of box sets commencing in summer 2014.

There are no further details at present, but we imagine that this UK release will follow the suit of FUNimation Entertainment's US box set releases.
