Wakanim to launch UK site, streaming Kill la Kill

To be simulcast via All the Anime web site

Written by A. H. on 04 Oct 2013

We've known it was coming, and now the word is out - there's a new streaming partner for the UK!

The partner in question is Wakanim, a French anime broadcaster that will be launching a new UK version of its site.  Also confirmed is that the service will be simulcasting Studio Trigger's Kill la Kill in conjunction with Anime Limited (who will be licensing titles for the service), meaning that episodes of said series will appear on the All The Anime web site.

The Wakanim service will offer all of its titles to be viewed for free on the site for a period of one month, while also offering premium rental of streams for 69p per episode for thirty days of access from the date of payment, or £1.25 for a download to own copy of an episode.

You can find all of the details about this partnership and service in full on Anime News Network.

We have some exclusive news of our own regarding this service right here on the UK Anime tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled!

EDIT: Episode one of Kill La Kill is now available from the All the Anime web site.  Why not check it out?
