Although the landscape for digital consumption of manga and light novels here in the UK has improved markedly of late (and we'll have an article on the site on that very subject too), there are still plenty of series that never make it to digital services, leaving us instead having to fret over where to store all those hefty tomes.
If you're a fan of A Certain Magical Index in particular however then fret no more, as this series of books being published in the west by Yen Press' light novel imprint Yen On have now made the transition to digital eBooks - formerly available only in physical paperback form, you can now pick up all six volumes currently available on a number of digital services, including the UK Amazon Kindle Store at a cost of just £3.99 per volume. Future volumes of the series will, of course, also receive a similar treatment.
Now, if we can just get Spice & Wolf and Sword Art Online's light novels to be afforded a similar treatment... then we'll bankrupt ourselves in no time. Hmm, maybe we shouldn't be so quick to celebrate after all...
