Amended Naruto Shippuden Box Set 21 stock now in retail

Incorrectly region-coded discs previously recalled

Written by A. H. on 22 Sep 2015

You may recall back in the middle of August we received word (and confirmed ourselves) that the second disc of Manga Entertainment's release of Naruto Shippuden Box Set 21 was incorrectly set to the wrong region code - Region 4 rather than Region 2.

Needless to say, this stock was quickly recalled from retailers and anyone who purchased the volume advised to return their copy to the retailer for a refund.

If you've been waiting for the all-clear to go out and pick up your copy of this release, then we've now had official confirmation from the distributor's PR firm Fetch Publicity that fixed stock has been released to retail, and that any copies of Naruto Shippuden Box Set 21 you purchase from major retailers will now be the fixed, Region 2-coded, edition of the set.

We've been holding off on our own review of this release until fixed discs hit retail, so our thoughts on this particular volume will be appearing on the site shortly.
